Stazione Sperimentale del Vetro is capable of offering technical support in the identification of the most suitable batch formulation for the production of a glass having a certain target chemical composition.
This result is achieved thanks to SSV’s expertise in the optimization of glass compositions for the most varied industrial applications, to an extensive database of properties of glasses associated with their base chemistry, and to the use of a proprietary thermodynamic simulation software.
These properties can also be derived experimentally in our thermopysical labs.
