Thanks to the expertise of its technicians in the fields of production, research and application of refractory products, SSV can provide to glass manufacturers a service of independent quality control and auditing for refractory materials and their production processes: SSV can assist in the qualification of suppliers, in the preliminary testing of melting furnace building materials, etc.
Moreover, in close cooperation with the customer’s technical staff, and with the support of experts in fused cast blocks and related production technologies, SSV can operate as an independent inspector directly in the production plant, for example for the technical verification of furnace pre-assemblies, or to audit the technical and technological readiness level of the manufacturer.
