In collaboration with the technical personnel of glass manufacturing companies, SSV carries out inspections at the end of the service life of melting furnaces, in order to identify any “weak points” in the refractory lining or wrong design choices, and to investigate, through sampling of the materials and subsequent micro-structural analysis in the laboratory, the corrosion and wear phenomena that have occurred.
