Thanks to its extensive database of thousands of experimental data on glass compositions and related thermo-physical and optical properties, Stazione Sperimentale del Vetro is capable of supporting the glass frits producers in the development of formulations for the most diverse applications.
SSV laboratories are also equipped to perform small scale production tests, for example with the aim of experimentally verifying that the developed formulations meet the target properties, and can also carry out the subsequent operational tests to verify the suitability of the new frits to their service applications.
