Product Certification

SSV laboratories carry out product analysis and certification activities in the various glass sectors, following national and international legal and technical standards.

In particular, regarding the manufacture of flat glass for the building industry, SSV is authorized by the Italian Government (notification no. 1694) to operate as a testing laboratory for the CE Trademark certification of insulating glazing units, of toughened and of laminated glass, in application of the European Directive CPR 305/11.
