SSV is the only Italian laboratory accredited to API 936 for all tests involving dense and insulating refractory concretes for applications in the petrochemical industry.
The laboratory is equipped to perform all required tests, including:

  • Bulk Density
  • Permanent Linear Change
  • Cold Compressive Strength
  • Abrasion resistance according to ASTM C704

and to prepare the samples in-house from bags of refractory concrete.

The tests can be supervised by third-party inspectors upon request.
